Today, the Anniversary of Miracle – Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion event in Chiba, Japan celebrates the 10th anniversary of Geass’ anime debut. At the event they announced that the 50 some odd episodes of the anime will be turned into three different compilation movies. The films will debut in January 2017 with new cutscenes and rerecorded dialogue.
But the biggest news of all is the plans for “Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection,” set to take place 7 years after Zero Requiem. Director Goro Taniguchi says that it will include a Lelouch that is alive and not an alternative version.
