In a blog post recently posted Ubisoft, they confirmed everyone’s suspicion that there was not going to be a new Assassin’s Creed game this year. The blog post began with a recap of what’s been going on in the franchise for the last few months and how excited they were about the new Assassin’s movie. The Assassin’s Creed movie is going to hit theaters in December 21, 2016. The game developer’s main reason for taking a break and not releasing a new game is, that they want to re-examine the Assassin’s Creed franchise. That’s actually a great reason to not release a new game, it’s not like the game developers are going to sit back and twiddle their thumbs. No, their whole staff is probably working harder than ever before as well as putting in extra hours. At the end of the day they just want to put out better games for their fans.
