After years of not having a sequel, Lemony Snicket’s book series A Series of Unfortunate Events is going to have another chance on the big screen through Netflix. It was disappointing years ago when the first movie featuring Jim Carry didn’t get a sequel. But now Netflix is going to pick up where they left of by doing a reboot of the series. However, the new cast is a bit surprising to say the least. Neil Patrick Harris is going to be playing Count Olaf, the role Jim Carry previously had. Neil tweeted @ActuallyNPH, “I’m excitedish to portray Count Olaf – it’s spending all day with those three horrible child actors that will be a challenge. #sneer #shudder”

Jim Carry was a perfect Count Olaf, but I’m excited to see how Neil will play the role. This show is so ridiculous it’s hilarious. I’m glad services like Netflix exist since it let’s series like this that wouldn’t normally happen have a chance.
