Shahan Reviews from YouTube put this Star Wars scene into perfect perspective. It shows the scene where Luke Skywalker is asking Obi-Wan Kenobi about the Clone Wars. Luke asks Obi-Wan, “you fought in the Clone Wars?” Obi-Wan reminiscent about the past says, “Yes, I was once a Jedi Knight the same as your father.” The scene then goes to a cutscene of the clash between master and pupil. Obi-Wan must fight his apprentice Darth Vader, who was seduced by the Dark Side and went on to help Empire hunt down all of the Jedi.
All the Star Wars films make perfect sense when taking into account what George Lucas said about the films; that they’re not just a movie about spaceships but more about family and divorce. Young Anakin Skywalker who would become Darth Vader had the capacity for good and potential to expand the cause of the Jedi. He was the chosen one, yet somehow he choose to go against the Light and side with the Empire. Now the Jedi are all but extinct, leaving the few survivors to pick up the pieces.
