Twitter is debating whether to do away with their 140-character limit per tweet. They are considering increasing the limit to 10,000 characters which is at least 72 times more than what the current limit is. The project is called “Beyond 140,” and is thought to be pushed by CEO Jack Dorsey. The date for the character increase still hasn’t been announced but many users on Twitter aren’t exactly open to the change. This might turn out to be one of Twitter’s dumbest moves ever which could effectively ruin the social media website. People love Twitter for what it is; not for being just like Facebook or a blog page.
