A New Zealand court has ruled that Kim Dotcom, an internet entrepreneur, is eligible to get extradited to the United States to face multiple charges. Dotcom’s charges include infringement, racketeering etc. and money laundering. He founded the website Megaupload.com where millions would go to download music, videos and files. US authorities claim that Dotcom cost the film industry and record studios an estimated 500 million. However, Dotcom didn’t actually contribute to any of the pirating, he only created a platform for file sharing.

“Justice not served,” was what Dotcom said after the ruling. We at RPG Nation completely agree with Dotcom. What the US is trying to do is not right. Dotcom is an internet freedom fighter. Most people are fresh to the internet since the .com boom happened in 1995-2001 (when going on the internet and visiting websites became popular), but many of us remember when the internet was free. Truly free, and not what major corporations and the government are trying to turn it into today. If we don’t stand with Dotcom then the internet might not be safe, we have to work for a freer internet.

Though I like the guy, Kim can be a bit cocky. If he was a little bit more humble with the money he has the Feds might not have come after him.
